DJ Bookings - Terms & Conditions

We all hate long boring legal documents, but sadly we need them.
Below, please find the my event & DJ booking T&Cs.

This Agreement is entered into between the Buyer (the “Client”) and DJ Too Much, DJ Mobile or Six Figure DJs - brand as applicable - (the “Vendor”). By proceeding with the deposit payment via our secure payment link, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.
 

1. Services Provided
 

Engagement: The Vendor agrees to provide professional DJ services at the Client’s event. The services include musical entertainment primarily delivered via a recorded music format.


Event Details: The specific event location, date, and time will be confirmed during the booking process. The performance package (wedding or standard event) and dynamic pricing options are selected by the Client at the time of booking.


Music and Performance Requirements:
 

The Client agrees to supply any event-specific details, including a written list of song requests or special music preferences, at least 4 weeks before the event.
 

In addition to the core DJ service package, any extra performance time beyond the selected package will incur additional charges at a rate of $300 per hour and $350 per hour for engagements longer than 6hrs.
 

2. Packages, Extra Products, and Payment Plans
 

Package Selection and Pricing:
 

The total service fee is based on the package selected (wedding package or standard event package).
 

Note: Specific event dates, performance start/end times, and base performance fees are dynamic and agreed upon during the booking process


Extra Products and Add-on Services:
 

A standard pricing list for additional products is provided below and is subject to change.  The following add-on services are available; your selections will be gathered as part of our pre-event follow-up process.


Lighting Packages:

Dance Lighting Package: $300.00
Custom LED DJ Booth Setup: Included in select packages


Photo Booth Package:

Up to 4 Hours of Service: $850.00


Ceremony Setup:

Wedding Ceremony Setup Fee: $350.00


Master of Ceremony Services:

MC Service & Day-of Coordination: $350.00


Venue Insurance Add-On:

Additional Insured Vendor Fee: $50.00


Special Effects:

"Dancing on a Cloud" Effect: $650.00
Cold Sparklers Effect: $750.00


Live Performance Add-Ons:

Live Violin for Cocktail Hour: $850.00


Streaming Services:

Event Streaming (via Zoom): $175.00

Note: All prices listed above are subject to change. A detailed, updated pricing list for these extra products and services will be provided separately, and your specific selections will be collected as part of our pre-event follow-up process.


3. Payment Terms


Deposit:
 

A non-refundable deposit/reservation fee is required to secure the event booking. Payment of this deposit confirms the Client’s agreement to these terms.


Balance Payment:
 

In the event full-payment or payment plans options aren’t selected during the booking process, the remaining balance is due a minimum 7-days prior to the event.

Fortnightly Payment Plans:
 

Selected products may be eligible for either 3- or 6-month fortnightly payment plans. The available options will be clearly presented during the checkout process.


Additional Time & Services:
 

Time beyond the selected package and/or agreed times will incur additional charges at a rate of $300 per hour and $350 per hour for engagements longer than 6hrs.


Payment Failure Fees:
 

In the event of a bounced check or failed payment, a service fee of $25 will be applied.


Non-Refundable Policy:
 

All amounts paid, including the deposit and any installments, are non-refundable. This includes all payment plan installments.
 

 

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Changes


Cancellation Policy:
 

If the event is canceled by the Client less than 30 days before the scheduled date, a cancellation fee will apply, and 50% of the remaining balance shall be due immediately.


Force Majeure:
 

In the event that the event must be canceled or postponed due to extenuating circumstances (including pandemics or natural disasters), any deposit and funds paid will be applied as a credit toward a future event at no additional cost. Notwithstanding this adjustment, all fees remain non-refundable.


Date Changes:
 

While the Vendor will do their best to accommodate any date changes, additional fees may apply as required.
 

 

5. Booking Process & Follow-Up

 


Digital Acceptance:
 

By clicking the payment link and paying the deposit, the Client electronically acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions stated herein.


Pre-Event Booking Form:
 

Once the event is confirmed and deposit received, the Client will receive a booking form containing a standard pricing list for extra services and products. This form allows for selections of add-ons and will capture any additional requirements.


Follow-Up Form:
 

All clients will receive a follow-up form pre-event to help tailor the DJ performance to their event’s specific needs. This form may include further details such as song choices, themes/styles, timeline adjustments, and any last-minute service requests.


6. General Provisions

 


Dynamic Pricing & Event Details:
 

All pricing for the core package and extra add-on products is subject to change based on the Client’s selections at the time of booking. No fixed pricing for the base performance or event date details is provided in this document.


Entire Agreement:
 

This Agreement, together with any attachments (including the standard pricing list and booking form), constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and the Vendor.


Acceptance:
 

Continued use of the payment platform and the provision of a deposit payment signifies that the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


By proceeding with your payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
